Star of David Israel Flag Armband
Star of David Israel Flag Armband
$2 of every purchase goes to support the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews.
In 1942, Dutch Jews were forced to wear a "Judenstern" ("Jewish star" or Star of David) throughout Nazi-occupied Netherlands. In response, Casper ten Boom, the father of Corrie ten Boom, insisted upon wearing an armband as well despite being a Christian. The next month, a Jewish woman sought refuge with the ten Boom family and was told by Casper, "In this household, God's people are always welcome."
Much in the same way, this armband is a way to stand in solidarity with Jews in Israel and across the world during a time of rising antisemitism. Instead of being forced to wear a Judenstern, we voluntarily wear this Israeli flag armband to show our support for those who are persecuted and tell the world, "Never Again!"
